In a corner of SW6, there’s a quiet revolution taking place. London’s first winery, London Cru, is producing fine wines right at the heart of the city. The grapes are hand selected to showcase beautiful European vineyards; they are hand-picked, chilled, transported and crushed in London within 36 hours. The quality of wine is outstanding. Our new name for the latest rage of wines - LDN SW6 - references the urban location, whilst our design effortlessly fuses the map of London with the contours of the distinctive vine leaves to create a true icon. The River Thames running through the map of the city becomes a stem of the leaf, with different leaf shapes distinguishing individual grape varieties. By naming each wine after a street that has a phonetic link to the grape, it adds an engaging idiosyncratic, and very London twist. Give it a try.
